Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

1. Data Controller

The data controller is Raphaël Plassart, sole trader (French micro-enterprise), publisher and operator of QoreDB.

  • SIREN: 942 906 157
  • SIRET (registered establishment): 942 906 157 00014
  • Business activity code (APE): 62.01Z — Computer programming
  • Contact: qoredb@gmail.com

The postal address of the registered establishment is provided on written request sent to this contact address.

2. Data Collection

QoreDB strictly limits the collection of personal data.

2.1 Navigation Data (Website)

When consulting the site, anonymized technical data may be collected for statistical purposes, including:

  • pages visited,
  • device type and browser,
  • operating system,
  • approximate country or geographic area,
  • load times and performance.

This data does not allow for the personal identification of a user.

QoreDB uses Umami, an open-source analytics solution self-hosted on its own server (Hetzner, Germany):

  • no cookies,
  • no cross-site tracking,
  • no advertising profiling,
  • no transfer of statistics to a third-party provider.

2.2 Voluntarily Provided Data

Certain data may be voluntarily provided by the user, for example:

  • during contact,
  • during registration for a newsletter,
  • during the use of future services requiring authentication.

Collected data may include:

  • email address,
  • name or pseudonym,
  • message content.

2.3 Purchase and licence data

When you buy a licence, the payment is processed by Stripe. Card details are entered directly on Stripe's infrastructure: they never transit through and are never stored on QoreDB servers.

QoreDB only keeps the information required to issue and manage licences:

  • the purchase email address,
  • the Stripe payment or subscription identifier,
  • the associated licence key and, where applicable, the assigned seats.

3. Purposes of Processing

Collected data is used solely to:

  • ensure the proper functioning of the site and services,
  • improve performance and user experience,
  • respond to contact requests,
  • communicate information related to the QoreDB project.

No personal data is sold, rented, or ceded to third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Cookies and Trackers

QoreDB does not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.

The only cookie stored is a strictly functional one (NEXT_LOCALE), which remembers the display language you selected. It is exempt from consent and enables no tracking.

Analytics (Umami, self-hosted) work without cookies or persistent identifiers, so no consent banner is required.

Should cookies subject to consent be used in the future, this policy would be updated and a consent mechanism would be implemented.

6. Hosting and Sub-processors

The QoreDB website and services rely on the following processors:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosting of the website and services, on servers located in Nuremberg, in the European Union;
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — domain DNS management, content delivery and attack protection;
  • Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland) — payments, invoicing and subscription management;
  • Resend — transactional emails and newsletter delivery;
  • Sanity — editorial content management (blog).

Analytics are handled by Umami, self-hosted on QoreDB's Hetzner server: visit statistics are not shared with any third-party provider.

Website data is hosted in the European Union. Technical processing carried out outside the European Union (notably by Cloudflare and Stripe) relies on GDPR-compliant safeguards, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

7. Data Security

QoreDB implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security, integrity, and confidentiality of data, including:

  • encryption of communications,
  • access control,
  • monitoring and limitation of unauthorized access.

8. Retention Period

Personal data is retained only for the duration necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Anonymized statistical data may be kept without time limitation.

9. User Rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users have the following rights:

  • right of access,
  • right of rectification,
  • right to erasure,
  • right to restriction of processing,
  • right to object,
  • right to data portability.

Any request can be made via the contact means indicated on the site.

10. Links to Third-Party Services

The QoreDB site may contain links to third-party services (e.g., GitHub). QoreDB is not responsible for the privacy policies applied by these services.

11. Policy Changes

QoreDB reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time.

Users are invited to consult it regularly. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of the page.

12. Contact

For any questions regarding personal data protection, you can contact the QoreDB team via the official channels indicated on the site.
